The Denton Music Project is an after-school music program that is dedicated to bringing quality music education to the Denton area.  Currently centered at Braswell High School, the DMP provides private lessons, group lessons, ensemble opportunities, and ensemble coachings.  Currently, private lessons are restricted to the string area but we hope to expand into other instruments and voice during the next school year.
  In addition to its teaching mission, the DMP strives to offer students of the Denton area as much exposure as possible to the wonderful music being created in the area.  With our strong connection the University of North Texas, the DMP is able to bring world-class musicians to perform at the high school as well as offer discounted ticket prices for students who wish to attend local performances.  These performances will showcase not just classical musicians, but also jazz, rock, experimental, and vocal musicians as well.
